I tried selling on this site but after a few days i gave up as it appeared that not one person had looked at my auctions. Waste of time.

If it was me I wouldn't even sign-up why because it has got no SSL meaning the site is not secure and the auction website looks very poor.

Hi Redrob, i joined avabid before i even kinew about all this secure server stuff so had no idea at the time otherwise i wouldnt of touched it with a barge pole. Enthusiast was the person who brought this to my attention and advised me very well.After reading his comments i decided not to bother signing up with any other site and only ones that he recommended.He certainly knows his stuff and i wish io had asked for advice 1st before jumping in at the deep end. Im not sure what i cant say on here as there is a lot more i need to tell but might have my postings removed, lol. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Thanks for your kind remarks. I've looked at Avabid and it doesn't impress me at any level. For a site that claims over 6000 members, judging by the list of closed auctions, there doesn't seem to be that many sales. You're right in saying you have to be careful in what you say about sites and people so I stick to what I know or can see for myself or what can be justified as fair comment. In the case of this site not only is there the security (lack of) issue, but it is also yet another of those sites that hosts sellers from China hawking fake Louis Vuitton items. This can be verified by anyone who looks at the site. For those and other reasons I personally wouldn't join it. Very Happy

Hi Enthusiast, you were getting the credit you deserved.You come across as very experienced at these sort of things.Maybe if i had the same knowledge i wouldnt of joined any auction site that diodnt meet the requiremenets.Wish i could go back in time now, lol. Anyway i have noticed that thew ones im already with still dont have any buyers interested in what i have to sell. Still never got a reply from avabids support team. Since your replies i havent bothered signing up with anyone else.Ive learnt my lesson, never again.
