I don't know what the law is in the US, but over here your name could be regarding as "passing off" as the long established UK site eBid, which also operates in the US and elsewhere. Certainly if I was eBid (which I'm not) I wouldn't be very happy about a site taking a very similar name. Couldn't you have come up with something more original? |

We are our own unique site. We do not have the same name as any other site. We are also a .com, not a .net. Everyone can have their own opinion. It would be wrong, but their own opinion. |

We have a feature that can put active and closed listings into a file. It is the MY Folder system (Similar to eBay's Selling manager). I think it is a great feature with more of the options everyone looking for. It is a feature that is free for all our members. We do not charge for this feature like eBay does.
My Folders allows you to put each auction into a certain folder. First, you create a folder or folders (as many as you wish to), then put each auction you have (active or closed) into a folder you created in the My Folders view. The ways you can put an auction into a folder is: (1) during a SYI process, or (2) directly from the My Folders view. The My Folders will organize your auctions by providing easier access, view, revising, and/or re-listing. We hope this will be one of your favorite places in the Members Area.
IMPORTANT: In order to use My Folders tools, you must have at least one folder with items assigned to.
If you have any questions about this feature please do not hesitate to ask. You can go to eBidds and join for free. You can then try this feature out and give your input. This feature is for free. You receive a $5.00 credit when you join. We have no insertion fee on our listings. It will cost you nothing to try this feature.
Thanks,
The eBidds Team |

You have a name that is very similiar to an existing and very well established site and that fact is likely to confuse people. Most people aren't aware of the subleties of whether site names end in net, com or whatever. eBid and ebidds - they are very similar and will confuse, but perhaps that's the object? You could hardly have been unaware of such a large site as eBid when you started yours. |
