Aimi Jones, from Oxfordshire thought the selling of a pretty yellow dress would be a breeze.
Little did she know that her eBay auction sale would go viral as we reveal the naked truth of
the saga of the "little yellow dress".
Aimi, 21 decided to advertise her ASOS dress for sale on eBay one of the largest marketplaces in
the world. Whilst she hoped for a good response she did not expect what happened next....
What Aimi failed to notice when taking a photo of the dress to add to her advert was that her own
reflection in the door mirror was clearly visible, in just a black bra and no knickers.
The auction soon went viral on various social networking sites including Twitter and now this simple
mistake has spurred a flurry of fake eBay sale ads.
Miss Jones, from Oxfordshire who sells under the username of SugarTit_3 told The Sun: 'It's so embarrassing. It is such a dizzy, stupid thing to
do and now the whole world's seen me in the nude.
'I put it on eBay last Saturday morning and realised straight away so ended the sale. But what I didn't
realise was that people could still it on the site.
'I reported it to eBay and they took it down, but by then it had gone viral. My boyfriend Andy thinks the
whole thing is hilarious.'
Whilst the initial auction attracted over 130 bids reaching an eye watering £153,000 it was quickly
closed when eBay heard news of the mistake and the interest that it generated. Quick thinking Aimi though
was quick to capitilise on the mistake and relisted the dress - this time with a shirt covering her modesty
and a note on the auction description which read "Asos yellow skater dress size 10, 2nd time round!! a MUST HAVE!!
As seen by thousands. Never worn naked. Needs a good home."
The item was listed on eBay UK and at the time of this article had received 24 bids with the bids at £448 -
