eBay UK Announce Reduced Listing Fees...
eBay(UK) announced major reductions of up to 33% in Insertion Fees for most categories.
"Lower Insertion Fees reduce the upfront risk of listing items and this is one of the most
requested improvements from sellers. We will balance the new Insertion Fee reductions by raising
Final Value Fees so that your total fees better reflect your selling success.
We are also delighted to introduce a comprehensive discount scheme of up to 40% off Final Value Fees
for high volume sellers who provide good service, as defined by their Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs)." says eBay.

Tazbar - Changes At The Top...
UK Based Tazbar Auctions announced a management team buyout recently:
"After much negotiation it has been agreed that from 1st February 2008 the development team at Tazbar will take over
the ownership and running of the site. James Stuart (programming) Adrian Boyle (Graphics) and myself will take Tazbar
forward in 2008 as the new major share holders. " says new Managing Director Lee Markham.
"It is only too apparent that Tazbar now has an attractive and reasonably efficient bespoke platform. There is always room for improvement,
there will always be bugs to fix and there will always be maintenance to carry out. However the site basically works well. We could continue
to develop the website forever, but this is all in vain if the world is not aware of its existence. This will change in 2008." ...

BIDZ Completes Upgrade Ahead Of Valentines Day Rush
BIDZ Auctions recently announced the completion of a major upgrade to their auction platform ahead
of the busy Valentines Day shopping period. The new auction LiveBid system is based on AJAX technology

Auction Giant eBay Makes Sweeping Policy Changes
Online auction giant eBay has announced a slew of measures designed to enhance customer experience and allow it reach
out to more number of buyers and sellers. At the company's third annual eCommerce Forum President and CEO-elect John Donahoe
outlined these changes saying they were designed to make "eBay easier and safer to shop." Among the proposed initiatives are a
plan to lower listing fees by 25 percent and to provide the best sellers incentives and discounts for using the site.
EBay is also increasing minimum standards required to list items on its site. Primarily these changes are aimed to discourage
unscrupulous sellers who make money on the sly by charging excessive shipping fees or by not properly describing items on sale.

auction buyers & sellers daily and in countries spanning the globe. We have some great new tools in the pipeline
for 2008 and our newsletter members will be the first to see them revealed! We hope to promote and extend the
use of our tools in more countries with language specific sites that should prove to be useful.
